Purpose and Private Status

Meigs County Released Inmates is a private reference site. It is not part of Meigs County government, the Meigs County Sheriff's Department, the Meigs County Jail, TDOC, the Tennessee Board of Parole, a court, or a federal custody agency. The site keeps no official jail, release, supervision, or court files. It cannot release a person, confirm current custody as an agency, change a record, accept a filing, or provide an official document.

The site organizes links and explanatory material that can help a visitor reach Meigs County and Tennessee record sources. It may also connect a visitor with an outside research tool. An agency or third party controls its own information, access rules, search results, and record production.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use of the site must be lawful, respectful, and consistent with these terms. You agree that you will not:

• A decision to hire, dismiss, promote, or retain a worker.
• Tenant selection, housing approval, or another housing decision.
• A credit decision, assessment of creditworthiness, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program where the FCRA applies.
• Any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
